About ESRDirect

Features  of the ESRDirect Small  Business Division include:

  • For a small set-up fee, a small or medium business has full access to the ESRcheck DIRECT system including consultation and customer service. *
  • Complete control over what you order and what you spend — Secure on line ordering and credit card payment means you know what you are spending ahead of time.
  • If a report comes back with a “hit” or “”discrepancy,” an ESR Background Specialists is available for consultation.
  • Daily progress reports by e-mail.
  • Pending and Completed reports available to users 24 hours a day – 7 days a week. Authorized users can view the current status of the report in real time at any time.
  • Look up Applicants by name, social security number or status of report.
  • Use the the Social Security Trace tool to help determine where to search for criminal records and help identify any undisclosed jurisdictions that may contain criminal records.
  • Additional services such as Licensing Verification Service: Verify the date issued, expiration date and status of a professional license.

The system is as easy as ordering a book online.  At checkout, view the final amount and simply use a credit card –no surprises.  ESR provides the necessary forms for the applicant to sign.  Sign -up consists of a very simple online process.  A small and medium business can be ready to go in 24 hours or less.

*NOTE: The set-up fee and fee for services are waived for non-profit, charitable or service organizations or faith based organizations.  Examples are groups that provide volunteer services, charitable services, youth services, youth sports, religious schools or similar services.  Please call ESR for details.

NOTE on CREDIT REPORTS: To protect privacy, credit reports are NOT available through the Small Business Division.  However, an employer utilizing this service who needs a credit reports can direct applicants to obtain their own credit reports by going to www.annualcreditreport.com, the site set up to allow consumers to access a free copy of his or her credit report from each of the three major credit bureaus once a year.
